Bayhead Dental Practice was the first dental practice to achieve ISO 9000:2000, the Investor in People Quality Standards, and the Eastman 5 star Quality Award in practice management and clinical governance. Bayhead Dental Practice is also an accredited training and assessment centre to provide Vocational Qualifications in Oralhealth Care.

In July 2005 the premises and staff were taken over by NHS Western Isles so they could provide a general dental service and employ salaried dental practitioners.

Kenneth MacDonald continues as an independent practice within the premises along with his associate Maria Hernandez and the information within this website relates to that service.
